The No-Interest Loans Scheme (NILS) can give you safe, fair and affordable credit, when you need it most. Your NILS loan can give you up to $2,000, for the purchase of things like household items, car repairs and registration, medical expenses, technology and education.

Am I eligible for a NILS loan?

To successfully apply for a NILS loan, you’ll need to be able to prove that you meet the following criteria:

  • You have a Health Care or Pension Card or can demonstrate that your take home pay is under $57,000 pa for a single or $75,000 pa for a couple or people with dependants.
  • You demonstrate a willingness and ability to repay the amount that you borrow. Your loan can be repaid over a period of 24 months and Anglicare’s friendly team will work out an affordable repayment plan with you.

In addition to helping pay for what you need as soon as you need it, these affordable loans are also a way for you establish a repayment record, which can assist you in your future financial dealings.
