Arundel House

Arundel House is a large vintage home in the heart of Glebe for 39 female tertiary students from around Australia and the world. This is an Anglican ministry founded by GFS in 1920. It provides a comfortable, safe and fun community environment where students transition into adulthood. With the compassionate support of Senior Residents and the live-in Director, residents make friends for life, pursue their various educational endeavours and interests, connect with local churches, explore faith and values.

Our philosophy is to encourage, empower and equip residents in all aspects of life, in a way that reflects the Gospel. For some residents this is a place where they meet Jesus for the first time, for others it is where they grow and deepen their faith – embracing their own relationship with Jesus.

Anglicare is partnering with Arundel House to ensure it continues to be a blessing to young women for many years to come.

Anglicare acknowledges Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the original and ongoing custodians of the lands and waters on which we live and work.

Inspired by the gospel of reconciliation in Jesus Christ, Anglicare's vision for reconciliation is a nation in which Australia's First Peoples are restored in dignity, respect, empowerment and opportunity..
