Anglicare Sydney has zero tolerance of child abuse. We treat all allegations and safety concerns seriously. We have a moral and legal obligation to contact authorities when concerned about a child’s safety.

Anglicare Sydney supports staff and volunteers by:
- applying robust human resources and recruitment practices for all staff, volunteers and contractors
- providing training and education on child abuse risks
- implementing specific policies, procedures, training, and Code of Conduct to support the achievement of child safety
- listening to concerns raised about children’s safety and suggestions to improve existing child safety processes
- ensuring that every person working with Anglicare Sydney understands that the safety of children and young people is key to their decisions and activities.
