Anglicare’s Vision, Mission and Values underpin a strong commitment to maintaining high standards of corporate governance, compliance and ethical behaviour. You should feel empowered to speak up and raise concerns, while feeling confident that your concerns will be heard.
Anglicare encourages you to report any concerns you may have about illegal, unethical or other undesirable conduct at Anglicare. Anglicare’s Whistleblower Policy explains how to report “Disclosable Matters”, which may include theft, fraud, bribery, collusion, conflicts of interest and misuse of Anglicare systems. Reports made under our Whistleblower Policy will be investigated in accordance with Anglicare’s Whistleblower Policy.
Anglicare’s Whistleblower Policy does not generally cover conduct concerning a person’s individual employment, such as personal workplace grievances or alleged discrimination or bullying. A detailed definition of what constitutes a “Disclosable Matter” is provided in Anglicare’s Whistleblower Policy.
We are committed to ensuring that any person who makes a report in good faith under Anglicare’s Whistleblower Policy is not penalised or disadvantaged because they have made the report. Any detrimental conduct against a person making such a report or participating in an investigation will be treated as serious wrongdoing.
You can report your concerns under Anglicare’s Whistleblower Policy anonymously. However, this may limit our ability to fully investigate the matter and provide you with support and protection.
We encourage you to report your concerns to the Whistleblower Email via whistleblower@anglicare.org.au. If you wish to make a verbal report or obtain further support under Anglicare’s Whistleblowing Policy, please contact us on 1300 111 278 and request the Executive General Manager – Legal and Governance. You can also report the conduct in other ways outlined in Anglicare’s Whistleblowing Policy.
Reports and information obtained while investigating a whistleblower report are treated confidentially. We will only disclose the identity of the person making the report with their prior consent, except in the limited circumstances set out in Anglicare’s Whistleblower Policy where we may be required to disclose this information.
This is a short, high-level overview of Anglicare’s Whistleblower Policy. You can read Anglicare’s Whistleblower Policy before making a report which can be found here.
