Anglicare offers compassionate and quality home care services that fit your lifestyle and meet you where you’re at. 

Need someone to help with the heavy lifting at the supermarket? No problem! Or if you're after a mobility aide so you can maintain your independence at home, Anglicare can help with that too.

Just choose from our broad range of care options and tailor them to suit you. Your Anglicare At Home care team will assess your needs, so you always have the right support. We can also connect you with other services to help you continue to live in your own home safely.

Home care services

Housework
The help you need around your home – dusting, vacuuming, changing bed linen, laundry and other day-to-day tasks.
Meals
Whether you need an extra pair of hands in the kitchen or someone to prepare your whole meal, an Anglicare home care worker can help.
Pet care
A family pet can be a lot of work. An Anglicare home care worker can help you with the regular walking and feeding.
Garden maintenance
If mowing the lawn or weeding is getting too hard on you or your knees, why not let Anglicare At Home lend a hand with the maintenance. 
Getting out and about
An Anglicare homecare worker can drive you to your medical appointments or simply give you a ride to meet friends for a social date.
Shopping assistance
Let an Anglicare home care worker accompany you to the shops and take the hassle out of doing your groceries… or even send then alone with a list!
Personal care
Need hygiene support? A trained Anglicare care worker can help you with tasks like showering, dressing and personal grooming.
Care and safety products
Use your care package funds to purchase or lease walking aids, personal alarms, motorised scooters, continence aids, health supplements and more.
Home modifications
Use your care package funds to make modifications to your home that will help you remain independent and also keep you safe.
Health care to you
Nursing and allied health services like physio, exercise physiology, occupational therapy and podiatry… all in the comfort of your own home!
Social support
Enjoy fun activities and special outings in a social setting with Anglicare’s respite and social wellness centres. Or a care worker can even just pop around for a cuppa and a chat.
Pastoral care
Anglicare’s pastoral care service is totally free, no matter your religion or background. If you’d like a friend whom you can share your joys, sit with in sorrow (and everything in between!) we’d love to be there for you.  

Specialist care services

In addition to standard home care services, your government funding may allow you to add one of the following Anglicare At Home specialist care services to your care plan.

Dementia care
Get specialised dementia care to help you continue living safely in your own home. You and your family can also use Anglicare’s Dementia Advisory Services unit for education and support to help you better manage your current situation, including peer support groups.

Nursing care
If the level of your care package allows, you might be able to include short or long-term nursing care for the ongoing treatment of a medical condition.

Respite care
If the level of your care package allows, you might be able to include respite for your primary carer. Anglicare offers a range of respite options – at home, through its respite centres and even overnight stays for carers themselves!

Health care services
If the level of your care package allows, you might be able to include health services offered by Anglicare’s allied health centre in Castle Hill. Including Audiology, Dental, Gym, Hydrotherapy and more.

I want to use privately funded home care
If you’re not eligible for government funding, happy to cover the full cost of your care, or are waiting for the outcome of your assessment and are eager to get started straight away, then this option is for you.

I want to apply for government subsidised home care
If you are at least 65 years of age; over 50 and Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander; or over 50 on a low income, homeless or at risk of homelessness, you may be eligible for government subsidised care.

Your first step is to contact My Aged Care and book your home care assessment. If you’d like guidance before you start your application process, you’re welcome to reach out to Anglicare.
