After coffee club, you all decide to head inside and do some craft. Decoupage is the craft of choice today, something new you’ve picked up since moving in, which you quite enjoy. Although if you’re honest, it’s the socialising with friends you enjoy the most.

After lunch you all head down for pub trivia, another great social event that brings residents together. The air is filled with laughter and the hum of connection – a true reflection of the caring and social community at Lemongrove Gardens.

 

When lunch and dinner comes around, the dining room has a vibrant energy. Mealtimes are an enjoyable experience that you look forward to, socialising with your friends and with a glass of wine when you choose. You’re grateful for the variety of choice and freshly prepared options the hospitality team prepare each day. Next month you’ve decided to join the food focus group to work with the team on the next menu. You have always enjoyed cooking, so you’re pleased to be involved and contribute. 

 

As you retire to your room for the evening, you reflect on your day and your time at Lemongrove Gardens so far. A big decision at the time to leave your family home, and everything that was familiar to you, but you’re pleased you did. You’re happy you made the move on your own terms, choosing a residential aged care home that feels right for you, a place where you can embrace the social atmosphere, enjoy activities, continue your favourite hobbies, and even explore new ones. 

Yet perhaps what you value most are the friendships you’ve built since moving in. On quieter days, when you’re not up for much, it’s comforting to know that you’re surrounded by a supportive and friendly community.
